This Program provides the Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Process Knowhow to Effectively and Efficiently conduct Operational Audit and Performance Evaluation of Electric Power Last Mile Distribution Systems. This program will cover the System from Distribution Substation to the Consumer. This program will cover auditing for verifying performance against Adopted Electrical Distribution Standards, Good Practices and Best Practices. Detailed Methodology for the Distribution System Audits will be discussed and further developed. Audit scope discussed includes Verification of adequacy of, and compliance with, Approved Distribution System Documentation, Operational Procedures and Controls.

    Program will discuss Distribution System Performance Measures, and Meaningful KPIs for the Distribution System. Program will cover Distribution System Audit, Functional Audit, and Special Audits. Participant will learn about Preparing Distribution Operational Audit Plans and Checklists from Audit Mandate, Auditee Strategic Objectives, Operational Strategies, Operational Targets, Industry Standards, Work Procedures and Controls, and, Good and Best Practices.

    Participant will learn about Best Practices in Distribution System Operational Audit as gained from Benchmarking with Leading Global Electrical Distribution Utilities and Operators. Participant will understand how to analyze KPIs for Relevance and evaluate their proper Performance Measurement.

    Where KPIs are Not Available or Not Reliable the participant will understand the methodology to follow to obtain Meaningful KPIs for the Operational Audit.
