Charter Contract & Chartered Ship Management

This program will provide the participant multi-discipline practical skills and competencies in the A to Z of hiring a Ship, Managing the hired ship to Returning the ship back to its owners. Though Substantial coverage will apply to all types of ships but the participant will have option to choose case study for any one of Dry Cargo Ship, Bulk Carrier, Container Vessel, Liquid Cargo Ship, Crude Carrier or LNG Gas Carriers.

The program will include understanding how to safeguard your company's interests, avoid or minimize risks, increase efficiency and effectiveness of the available ship. The participant will understand the Organizational Objectives, Key Performance Indicators, the Processes involved, the Risks, Opportunities and actions available to minimize the risks, Controls for Effective Management and Data Analysis System to provide Early Warning Decision Support Information to your organization.

This program is intended for all professionals involved in making decisions regarding charterparty hiring of ships, administration the charter party contract, planning and managing the effective utilization of the ship and managing the return of the ship to its owners at the end of the contract. It is also intended for management analysts and operational auditors involved in auditing of such Contracts and activities.

The participant will typically be working for either the Chartering Party or the Ship Owner.
